In mid-May 2010, developer GLD Invest Ukraine signed a 7-year lease with the Ukrainian subdivision of Rhenus Revival (international logistics operator). DTZ represented the interests of the landlord in the deal for 9,806 sq m of West Gate Logistics Park (Stoyanka village, Kyiv-Zhytomyr Road M06).
Clemens Leer is MD of GLD Invest Ukraine, which is part of Austrian holding group GLD Invest. Mr Leer said that only 8% (7,170 sq m) of West Gate Logistics Park is now vacant, far below the Ukrainian market average. "With DTZ’s assistance, we managed to sign a lease agreement with a renowned German company (Rhenus Revival), despite the difficult economic situation," said Mr Leer.
