DTZ Ukraine wins an award in ‘Best Property Consultancy’ category

DTZ Ukraine has won an award in the category ‘Best Property Consultancy for Ukraine’ at the Europe and Africa Property Awards, part of the wider International Commercial Property Awards, in association with Bloomberg Television. The official presentation of the award will be at the Park Lane Hotel in London’s Mayfair on Friday 24 September 2010.

DTZ is the longest-established property consultancy company in Ukraine, and has been present in Kyiv since 1994. The team has delivered some of the most high profile instructions in the country. For example, in 2009 DTZ was appointed as exclusive leasing agent and centre manager for the largest retail mall in Ukraine (Riviera Shopping City) which spans 80 000 sq m. While in 2010 DTZ was appointed exclusive leasing agent for a second major shopping and entertainment centre in Odessa, which will be the biggest post-crisis development in the country and one of the largest Shopping Centres in Odessa.

Additionally in 2010, DTZ has acted as agent on the biggest investment deal in Ukraine so far this year, and is the market leader for valuation services.

The International Property Awards’ panel of judges is made up of experts from various industries. This year’s panel included Ben Wood, Industry Head, Property Markets for Google UK, Peter Bolton King (Group Chief Executive of the National Federation of Property Professionals), Christopher Hall (President-Elect of FIABCI) Thijs Stoffer (International Consortium of Real Estate Agents Association), Fiona Nixon (Chairman of the Australia Institute of Architects), Hendrik Nelde (President of FIABCI Belgium), Helen Shield (Editor-in-Chief, International Homes Luxury Collection magazine) and Sven Johns (CEO of the German Real Estate Association).
