Overview
To establish the main European Headquarter for Yahoo! which included relocation staff from nearby Lausanne and new staff from other European divisions. A critical occupational date of December 2008 was required and achieved. 28,670 square feet of total fit out area and budget was set at $ 5,500,000.
What DTZ did
DTZ together with ISG (contractor) designed and delivered a flagship office environment which would pave the way ahead for future design aspirations within the Yahoo! organization. Highly themed meeting rooms and creative as well as innovative environments were created on two levels within the brand new Rolle Business centre near Geneva.
Results
- A high quality fit out with spaces showing interactive and innovation for open communication
- Yahoo! specific corporate branding for a ‘fun and creative’ environment to work within
- Open plan office environment with interactive meeting areas and Yahoo specific manifestations
- Central gaming activities within the main break out area
