In Newcastle recent industrial transactional highlights include the sale of the 75 acre Hadrian Yard, with in excess of 400,000 sq ft, on behalf of Amec Plc. to Shepherd Offshore.  Newcastle’s office agency team were directly involved with 234,322 sq ft of the 615,181 sq ft transacted in 2008 which represents a 38% market share. Key transactions include lettings to Tech Mahindra (28,666 sq ft) and EDF (26,155 sq ft) at Viking Business Park and Doxford International Business Park respectively.
