Martyn Chase is European Retail Sector Head based in London. Martyn is a member of the UK Management Board.
Martyn is responsible for driving DTZ’s retail property business forward, with a focus on urban regeneration and shopping centres. DTZ are market leader in UK and Europe for management, leasing, development and funding in this sector and are currently working on over 250 projects across Europe. Recent schemes include the award winning Westfield London, My Zeil in Frankurt, Highcross Leicester and Victoria Square in Belfast. Martyn is also supporting DTZ's growing retail services in Asia and North America.
Martyn was Chairman of Donaldsons which merged with DTZ in July 2007 – he completed over 30 years service with the firm. He was Head of the Local Authority Consultancy team which remains market leader for DTZ. He is immediate past President of the British Council of Shopping Centres, a Member of the ICSC European Board and on the British Property Federation Regeneration and Development Committee.
Martyn is leading DTZ’s community engagement programme and serves on Business in the Community Leadership Team for Economic Renewal. He is a Fellow of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors and Fellow of the Royal Society of Arts.
