Overview

DTZ provided a full range of services including strategic development consultancy, leasing and marketing advice and property and facilities management services for Bahrain World Trade Center (BWTC), a landmark, mixed-use, commercial scheme.

What DTZ did

DTZ utilised a specialised project team to work alongside the client team to deliver one of the most prestigious and iconic buildings in the region.

DTZ’s in-house marketing consultant worked with various external agencies to develop a long-term, fully integrated marketing campaign to support the leasing efforts. The marketing campaign encompassed the development of a brand strategy, various advertising campaigns, a sales toolkit and the implementation of PR initiatives to address key milestones in the project lifecycle.

The leasing team’s knowledge working with ‘Grade A’ office buildings throughout the world, coupled with in-depth market knowledge, helped to determine robust occupational strategies, pricing strategies and service charge recommendations. DTZ also helped develop all the appropriate leasing documentation and agreed client terms of lease.

Results

  • The office towers were 100% pre-leased
  • The retail element was 100% pre-leased
  • For the marketing campaign, BWTC won an international award for outstanding creativity in 2007 in the Mobuis awards - LA
