DTZ’s hospitality team was appointed to complete a market and financial feasibility study for a new five-star hotel development on The Palm, Jumeirah; a large, mixed-use project on reclaimed land off the coast of Dubai in the United Arab Emirates
What DTZ did
DTZ was able to draw upon its extensive knowledge of the UAE hotel market, having been previously appointed on a number of other high profile hospitality schemes on The Palm in Dubai and elsewhere in the region.
DTZ prepared a detailed report on the supply and demand characteristics of the hotel market, both current and projected, a site analysis, a facilities recommendation, a five-year profit and loss forecast and a ten-year cash flow with an anticipated return on investment.
Results
DTZ advice allowed the client to move to the next phase of the project and the scheme is now under construction.
