David Watt is Head Business Development and Client Services for Asia Pacific, based in Hong Kong.

David specialises in advising investment and property companies on their strategy, sector and geographical allocation and on specific projects, especially large-scale development projects. He also ensures that DTZ's major clients in the region are provided with the required skill-sets and service levels.

He has over 30 years of international experience on a wide range of commercial development projects. Through the 1970s, David built up international experience on a wide range of commercial development and leasing projects. His mainstream activity through the late 1980s and early 1990s was related to development advice in a significant number of development projects throughout Europe and the Middle East on behalf of public authority and private sector clients.

David holds an MA from Oxford University, is a Fellow of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (RICS) and completed the IEP at INSEAD Business School, France. He has lived and worked in UK, UAE, Bahrain and Hong Kong.

In addition to his DTZ role, David is Chairman of the China Committee of the Hong Kong British Chamber of Commerce, Independent Non-executive Director of The Link REIT in Hong Kong and of the RICS Global Communications Board.
